The successful and professional work of the German Province is based on…

  • 260 salesians 
  • 2000 employees
  • and 20 social youth entities.

Vocational training means: Vocational preparation and differentiated orientation on various professional groups …

  • depending on locations up to 19 different possibilities of professional trainings and up to 39 possibilities of vocational preparation
  • Training projects with the special focus on mental and emotional disorder
  • accompanied by professional psychological, medical and social services – case management.

Assistance for NEETS (Not in Education, Employment and Training) includes…: 

  • outreach work 
  • operates 24-hours/7-days a week
  • offer of common meals
  • meaningful practical work especially in the fields of crafts and home economics
  • supporting the creation of a meaningful and regular daily structure
  • help to clarify the individual problem areas
  • debt and addiction prevention
  • school tuition
  • vocational guidance
  • internships and socio-educational support of the transition in follow-up trainings, work and aftercare.

Central task of the projects is, in contrast to the instability of their previous life, to provide a home.   In our centres everybody has the right to restart again for a successful life.
