The partners of the DBWAVE project met in Sevilla on 26 and 27 April 2022 to present their final outputs and results.
Over 50 people attended the Final Conference on the 28th of April in Sevilla at Salesianos Trinidad and over 100 people followed the webstreaming online.
Guests included Fr George Tharanyil SDB, Director of Don Bosco Tech Africa and Giulia Meschino, Director of EVTA. Markus Espeter from EVBB provided a training on the Centers for Vocational Excellence.
The European project DB WAVE, the first Erasmus+ KA3 project that brings together 7 European Salesian VET networks with the common goal of increasing the employability and social inclusion of young people through vocational training, has among its specific objectives the creation and development in a cooperative way of tools aimed at providing quality resources to facilitate the transition of VET students in Europe into the labour market.One of these quality resources that the partnership of the DB WAVE project has developed is a handbook including operational guidelines to create or to update...
On 24-25 March, the European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAfA) organized an event in Barcelona, Spain, gathering over 100 representatives, including old and new member of the Alliance.

On February 15, CNOS-FAP led an online training of trainers on guidelines to create and/or standardise at European level Salesian Employment Services offices (also known as Job Services Offices – JSOs) which can support young people from Vocational Education and Training (VET) in job placement.
The guidelines were prepared by a joint work of CNOS-FAP and Association Maisons Don Bosco. Also partners from Spain (Tech Don Bosco) and Hungary (SZIF) presented their own experience with employment services offered to their VET students and apprentices.

Introducing the local experiences of the Tracking...
Association Maisons Don Bosco carried out three ToTs (Training of Trainers) on how to use the DBWAVE database platform. The three trainings were organized by region and took place online between January 27th and February 4th 2022. Their objective was to train the VET members of staff in charge of completing the database and to answer their questions.
Association Maisons Don Bosco hosted its final peer review for the Erasmus + project DBWAVE on January 12th and 13th 2022. The peer review team was composed of Marta Pahisa, Daniel Serra and Francisco Garcia, representatives of the SMX network (Salesianos Spain Maria Auxiliadora).
The main objective of this event consisted in evaluating AMDB internationalisation strategy progress since last year. AMDB was represented by Father Jean-Noël Charmoille, Sister Valentine Delafon, two School Delegates, Daniel Gouilly and Olivier Simon, and Rose-Marie Enriquez-Vieu.

On the 24th of Janary the meeting of the DBWAVE’s TALs (Thematic Activities Leaders) took place online. TALs discussed how the different Working Groups are going and they monitored the implementation of the final steps to be taken for the last 3 months of the DBWAVE project.
Project managers from SMX – Salesianos Spain Maria Auxiliadora met with officers from CNOS-FAP (Italy) for the second episode of their peer-review process on their respective VET internationalization strategy. The peer-review took place online on 19 and 20 January 2022.
