On 18 and 19 November the coordinators of DBWAVE partners were able to disseminate the main results of the project to the over 90 participants (from 9 EU countries) of the 11th edition of “Salesian Europrojects”. This annual event, which gathers representatives from Don Bosco schools and VET centers across Europe, took place in San Lorenzo El Escorial and Madrid (Spain).
Don Bosco International, together with other partners of the DBWAVE project, has subscribed to the Pact for Skills in June 2021. The Pact celebrates on 10 November 2021 its first anniversary. See here below what the Pact is about and how you can still join it!
Eight months after the first online peer review in Hungary in February 2021, two representatives of the AMDB network travelled to Budapest to assess the progress of the Hungarian Salesian network SZIF’s international outreach strategy.
In June 2021, Don Bosco International (DBI) subscribed to the Pact for Skills, joined by some more DBWAVE partners. On the 15th of October, then, DBI attended an Online Conference organized by the European Commission within the framework of the Pact, with a specific focus on the skills partnerships for the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs).
On the 28th of May and on the 13th of July 2021, the 12th and the 13th coordination meetings of DBWAVE took respectively place online. Several work packages (WPs) of the project were addressed.
“Don The Peer Learning led by CNOS-FAP took place online on June 30 and July 1, 2021. The focus of the Peer Learning was on Job Services Offices (JSOs).
Salesian partners in Europe have been working for almost 2 years on the DB WAVE Project (Don Bosco Web for a more Accessible VET in Europe) with the aim of improving the educational quality of Vocational Training in Europe, especially with regard to employability and social inclusion of the youngest.
During the last 2 months, all the partners have been attending online the different learning sessions that were planned in the project.

SZIF reviewed the internationalization strategy of Tech Don Bosco
The Salesians of Europe have been working for a year and a half on the DB WAVE Project (Don Bosco Web for a more Accessible VET in Europe) with the aim of improving the educational quality of Vocational Training in Europe, especially employability and social inclusion of the youngest.
On April 27, the Coordinators of the 8 partners of DBWAVE met online for the 11th project’s Coordination Meeting.
Monitoring the project’s progress and rescheduling some of the peer learning activities were among the topics covered during the meeting.
